The dry season, from May to September, is the best time to see wildlife. The warmer months, from October to March, have beautiful views and are great for taking photos.

Difficulty Level

You don't need to have been on a safari or hiked before to enjoy this tour. Intended guests should be moderately fit. The guided walking safari will include leisurely walks through mostly flat bushland while being closely watched by experienced rangers. Most of the wildlife watching will happen from luxurious and comfortable safari vehicles.

The safari area will have manageable driving times, and the domestic flight to Cape Town will reduce long distances by land. When you walk around Cape Town, Bo-Kaap, and the Cape Peninsula, you'll see paved streets, modest slopes, and sometimes stairs, especially near beautiful lookouts.
