More than 1.5 million wildebeest with zebras and gazelles in tow, circle the Serengeti to Maasai Mara ecosystem every year in search of rain fed grass. You will spend a focused week tracking the Great Migration through Tarangire, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater with your daily plan tuned to where the herds are now and the seasonal highlights: calving (Jan–Mar) in Ndutu and river crossings (Jul–Oct) in the north. Expect unrushed game drives, incredible guiding, and conservation first practices so you observe the drama, not cause it. Recent seasons show how weather and crowding can disrupt crossings; strict TANAPA rules protect animals and visitors, and responsible operators follow them.
