Overview
You will explore two famous of northern Tanzania, Tarangire’s baobab-covered plains and Lake Manyara’s Rift Valley shores. Tarangire’s dry season wildlife concentrations and huge elephant herds will fill your viewfinder, while Manyara will greet you with groundwater forests, flamingos, and the chance to observe tree climbing lions. Driving times are short, so you’ll spend your days on safari, not in transit. The best wildlife viewing typically falls June to October; birding peaks November to April.

Itineraries
Day 1: Arrive in Arusha and Transfer to Tarangire
You will land in Arusha or Kilimanjaro, meet your driver guide, and head southwest toward Tarangire (about 2–3 hours depending on gate and lodge). After check in at your eco-lodge or tented camp, you will take your first game drive among towering baobabs. As afternoon shadows lengthen, elephants, zebra, and giraffe will gather near the Tarangire River, the park’s lifeblood in the dry months while raptors circle the skies. Overnight in Tarangire.
Day 2: Tarangire: Baobabs, Elephants & Silale Swamp
Day 3: Transfer From Tarangire to Lake Manyara
Day 4: Transfer from Manyara to Arusha (Souvenirs & Departure)
