You will learn traditional farming techniques, sustainable practices, and join in picking ripe cherries during harvest. By the lunch you will relax with a traditional Rwandan meal featuring fresh lake fish, isombe, plantains, and seasonal fruits. Dine by Lake Kivu, with sweeping views across to the Congo hills. You will join a local coffee grower for a special roasting and tasting session. Roast beans over open fire, grind and brew using age old Rwandan methods. Savor various roasts and learn how to identify notes of citrus, chocolate, or floral tones. You will end your day tour with a soothing moment on Rubavu beach.
