The ReGreen Movement
Started in October 2024, the 1K Trees ReGreen Initiative is a Rwanda-based program that aims to plants 1,000+ trees annual, removes plastics, and restores damaged ecosystems through afforestation and reforestation. It supports healthier land, cleaner communities, and stronger local action for conservation. The project is funded through NGO support, public donations, and 5% of income from Swift Africa Safaris tours, which is reinvested into this project and other initiatives we run. Our is not only to stay operate in Rwanda, but also in the other countries.
What we do
What We Focus On
We organize yearly tree planting and ecosystem restoration activities, while mobilizing communities to reduce plastic waste and care for their environment. Through local partnerships and handson action, we help protect nature and improve community spaces.
Through this initiative, we put efforts in support projects that reduce dependending on forests as raw materials souces but the other altenatives.
